A mini program in WeChat App which help users convey the signal of reconciling and create opportunities for interaction.
Problem (Brief)
Our project started from the theme of communication. We found the importance of signals in human communication. When it come to friends with high intimacy, if communication barrier is not broken in time, it will affect emotions and trigger a series of problems.
The ‘Right’Problem and INSIGHTS:
Firstly, qualitative analysis was conducted through interviews and we got some keywords. What they hope that we can provide is the key point. We summarize this into three options --1.'Virtual platform 'that helps is like an interaction design.2.' Cooperation and interaction towards the same goal 'is like service design. 3.'Items that apologize indirectly and arouse tacit agreement' is product design. And then the quantitative analysis is conducted through questionnaires which shows that people prefer the second one.
SOLUTION:
But we do not solve the problem by holding a activity. After another interview, we found a lot of activities people like can increase collaboration, intimacy and interaction. We think the key point is bringing the people together. So we design Melty which helps friends eliminate conflicts by ice-breaking signals and create opportunities for interaction. Besides, it also can be used in daily life.
