Problem (Brief)

With the rapid development of social economy and the acceleration of urbanization and the increasingly isolation of urban households, the symbiotic relationship between people and pets has undergone tremendous changes based on the need to be close to nature and emotional compensation. However, the design and development of pet furniture products in China is still in its infancy, and more attention should be paid to the need for pet care.

The ‘Right’Problem and INSIGHTS:

This study mainly focuses on the morphological and functional relationship between human and cat interactive furniture. Human, cat and furniture were included in the research subjects. The purpose is to explore the possibility, usability and design ability of human-cat interaction in the design of pet furniture, so that pet furniture can better meet the needs of consumer groups and play an important role in the interaction medium.

SOLUTION:

Catube Sofa is a single sofa shared by cats and humans.Designed for young urban women who have been at home for a long time, it is very easy to clean and suitable for neat and cat lover. It meets the harmonious state of human and cats.It combines static and dynamic interaction. When people don't want to be disturbed, the cats can enjoy themselves. When people want to entertain, they can interact with the cats through furniture.
